# Recruiting Members #

Part 1
----------
1- Recruiting new members and for the time being, we depend on the Social Media (mainly Facebook) to do that. However, that should not be our only source of recruiting.

2- New members must take an online assessment - passing mark is 60/100 not 50/100.

3- If new members pass with 60/100 mark, they need to join this facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ITA.Team/ and once they do, they must read the pinned post on that group.

4- New members must be aware of : https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ita/+spec/membership-policy

5- New members must join: https://launchpad.net/~ita-team

6- New members need to communicate with HR Team if they have any Q.

(*) New Members to be accepted on ITA Facebook Group can remain Maximum of 30 days. If they will not interact with anyone whatsoever, it is safe to remove them without any further notice.

(**) If New Members didn't introduce themselves with an introductory post within 14 days, they will be removed too with no further notice.

1- Upon the successful completion of Part 1, New Members need to start this part.

3- They need to choose their desired Sub-Team - everything is explained in this link : https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ita/+spec/sub-teams-selection-phase1

4- By joining the ITA Sub-Teams on Launchpad - http://ita-team.blogspot.com/2014/05/ita-sub-teams-on-launchpad.html - members are requested to STOP using the Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/ITA.Team/ - and use The Mailing Lists of each Sub-Team for their daily communications - please see: http://haf-aj.blogspot.com/2014/05/joining-launchpad-and-howto-subscribe.html

5- After joining a Sub-Team, members need to approach their Team Leader if they have any Q AND/OR can also approach HR Team in case that Team has no Team Leader yet.

NOTE :
======
Members are not required to attend the weekly meeting which is happening every Saturday between the Leaders of ITA Team. However, they're required to attend the meeting (if any) of their Sub-Teams. Example: if someone is part of QA Team, he/she needs to organize with his/her Team Leader in case there is a meeting to attend or not. This is 100% an internal communication that HR Sub-Team have nothing to do with. This is up to any Sub-Team to decide what is the best for their Sub-Teams.

Part 1
----------
1- Those who would like to step in and be Team Leaders must be part of ITA Team on Launchpad First - https://launchpad.net/~ita-team AND they must be part of one Sub-Team at least - https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ita/+spec/sub-teams-selection-phase1

2- Candidate must take an online assessment - passing mark is 70/100.

3- If a candidate pass, he/she should be approved by the founders of ITA to be a Team Leader. Once approved, he/she needs to join: https://launchpad.net/~ita-team-leaders - an invite from the founders will be sent to join that team.

4- The new Team Leader will be the owner of the Launchpad Team - http://ita-team.blogspot.com/2014/05/ita-sub-teams-on-launchpad.html - and he/she will take the full responsibility of approving new members, etc.

5- Team Leaders are required to attend the weekly meeting on Saturdays with the founders of ITA.

6- Just like ITA members, Team Leaders have probation period as well. However, this is entirely up to the founders of ITA and HR will NOT handle that.

7- Team Leaders are in charge of some tasks, one of these is recruiting new members to their Sub-Teams. Therefore, HR Team will help them whenever needed and NO member to be selected UNLESS he/she do the online assessment as per the above.

Part 2
----------
When Phase 3 starts - Technical Board - Team Leaders of ITA have the privilege to apply and they are automatically considered as candidates. However, there will be a meeting (and could be an online assessment too) with the founders to decide that. Again, HR Team has nothing to do with this - this is for the founders to decide.
