Definitely and without a doubt, ToriOS Team and ToriOS System MUST have Forums.

============
Forum Usage
============
A- Future Plan: For Users to post their technical issues, etc.
B- Current and Future Plan: The best place for ToriOS Team *DISCUSSION* [1]
C- More Information:

[1] Team Discussions vs Team Planning:

Team Planning = On the Blueprints at Launchpad.
Team Discussions (specially long ones) = Forums

Mailing List Usage
= = = = = = = = = = = =
A- Important Announcement.
B- Important Topics (short).
C- Short Questions.
D- The Contact Address of ToriOS Team (whoever would like to contact us by email).
E- The easiest and the most direct approach to contact everyone involved with ToriOS Team/Community in one single email to be sent to everyone who is subscribed to the mailing list of ToriOS on Launchpad.
F- More Information:

ToriOS Team Members are required to:
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
1- Should have @torios.org Email Address - this is to a basic yet important step to prove how serious the contributor is (IMHO).
2- Each and everyone of ToriOS Team must be subscribed to the Mailing List - This is howto: https://help.launchpad.net/Teams/MailingLists#Subscribing
3- Each and every Team Member of ToriOS to join the Forum - http://forums.torios.org/index.php
4- Each and everyone one of ToriOS Team MUST read this blueprint and this one as well: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/torios/+spec/team-communications
5- After reading these two blueprints, (+1) on the whiteboard is a like signing the Ubuntu CoC but of course, you are 'not' required to sign Ubuntu CoC within ToriOS but we do need your (+1) to make sure you are fully aware of this.
6- Please do ask if you are in doubt.

Whiteboard

[amjjawad] I have signed up on ToriOS Forum. Kindly provide me with full administrator access.
Also, please edit the logo to: "Tori鳥OS" as this is what I'm planning to use on all our channels. This is just the 'Text' Logo. It has nothing yet to do with the Graphical Logo :)

[William] You account now has full admin capabilities.
I wasn't completely sure what you meant by "This is just the 'Text' Logo. It has nothing yet to do with the Graphical Logo" but go ahead and take a look at what i've done.
Login with you account as usual., you should now see "Administrative Control Panel" at the very bottom of the page, when you click on that it will make you authenticate yourself a second time, once you are in the control panel you can click > General > Board settings - there you can change the text in the header.
Also, I am just sitting down to my email for the first time in many hours. I see everything regarding communication, and will go over it all ASAP. When I saw this I decided to expedite the request before going over all that to sorry if I am already in violation. It's been a hectic day for me. You should be ok, but I have no way of testing you account since I don't know the password. Let me know if you encounter any trouble.

[amjjawad] Two quick important notes:
1- Let's avoid long discussions for now as much as we can unless very necessary and required. That said, I don't think it is good idea to use the Forum unless required. Giving so many sites at this stage will make us confuse and following the information will be harder. One source for the information at this stage, that is the mailing list :) the forums will not go anywhere, there will be always a place but it is not the right time IMHO to use it. Every second we can save does count and help :)

2- I don't have yet a 'full' access on the forum. I guess 'Admin' account has the full access. I have 95% of full access but there are some stuff I can't do if I am not the site administrator of the 'full' site administrator. No worries at this stage but in the future, I might need the 100% full access.

Thank you!
P.S.
On a side note, what happened to the (+1) to this blueprint? I see only 3 have voted so far? :(

[gsilva]
I've signed up on the forums as well, althought it's full of spam. Is it still active?

[amjjawad] No. Sadly, the forum is not active and I'm not sure who is logging in to the forum anyway. As long as it has been set, we just need to keep the spam away and once our system is up and running, we can use it and our users as well. For now, I think for discussions, we need to use IRC and/or Mailing List :)
