We have the need for a basic admin interface into the system that can utilize all the functionality of the public api and be able to make calls into the admin only api methods. Should be aware of multiple clusters and the servers in those clusters.

NASA is preparing to open source their Dashboard UI, which is implemented as a Django module. We will be cleaning this up and providing a reference implementation as part of the project.
There has also been interest in admin cli tools that are easily scriptable.
