Lubuntu 14.04 needs a very active and strong Marketing Department
IMHO, Lubuntu 14.04 needs a very active Marketing Campaign, specially it is planned to be our first LTS and that means longer support which means MORE Members and Contributors must JOIN and HELP.
Also, if Lubuntu Team is planning for 14.04 LTS to take over Windows XP, it needs a strong Marketing Department for that. Those people will NOT be involved in ANYTHING ELSE except Marketing. Therefore, I find it really important to recruit NEW members JUST FOR MARKETING so everyone else carry on with his/her usual work.

Being a Former Leader of Lubuntu Communications Team and Currently a Leader of Ubuntu GNOME Communications Team and PeppermintOS Community Manager, I find it very important to review everything about Lubuntu Communications Team and set a Solid Plan for 14.04 :)
Also, the Social Media Channels, all of them, must work in the same pattern and each post should be consistent. Having that said, I have noticed that when the Facebook Page make a post, Google+ and Twitter don't.
And, when I have sent an email about the same idea a month ago: https:/
The mission of Lubuntu Communications Team this cycle is not going to be easy at all. Coordination, help and support between everyone is highly needed at this point. That is of course, if the plan is to go beyond the expectations and promote for Lubuntu 14.04 :)
Thanks!
Thanks!
