[Requirements]:

0 - Must read this carefully and follow the steps: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/GettingInvolved#Lubuntu_Official_Members

1- Please read this very carefully: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/SubTeams:

== What is a team ==
 * Group of people willing to help on a specific area.
 * Need to be active : It's essential that people of the team are active. It's not necessary to be active on a daily base, but a minimal participation is necessary, so we don't have "ghost members" in the teams. It's better to leave the team temporary if we don't have time on the short-term, and enter it again after.
 * Participation can be done by members outside the team: of course, other people can help the team, without the need to be part of the team. For example, you can contribute on some wiki pages without to be part of the team. But, if you want to do more, it's better to enter the team, so you can coordinate with other members.
 * Free to organize themselves : you can use the wiki, or a specific mailing list, delegate responsibility on 1 member for a specific area or not, nominate a member who will speak at the weekly meeting or not ...
 * Keep everyone informed of any significant changes on the sub-team by use of the general mailing list and/or the mailing list of each Sub-Team because each Sub-Team has its own mailing list.

2- We need two, one is the owner of Lubuntu Communications Team and the other is an administrator. The administrator role on Launchpad team is someone has all the access the owner has except he/she can not delete the team or set him/her self as owner but everything else like excepting new members, change branding, etc he/she has all the access to do it.

3- The two administrators of Lubuntu Communications Team should work side by side to organize the team and coordinate with the administrators of Lubuntu Social Media - https://blueprints.launchpad.net/lubuntu-brainstorming/+spec/social-media-administrators

4- There will be total four (4) members as follows:

a- Head of Lubuntu Communications
b- Administrator of Lubuntu Communications
c- Social Media Admin #1
d- Social Media Admin #2

ALL the above should have access to the Social Media but only (a) and (b) have access of administrator on the Launchpad Team.

5- If anyone from the above mentioned FOUR roles would like to step down and leave, he/she MUST find a replacement before he/she leaves. THIS IS A MUST.

6- If anyone from the above mentioned FOUR roles would like to go away for 1 week (7 days) or more, he needs to leave a message on the mailing list and inform the whole team that he/she is away. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

7- Disagree but do NOT disrespect. Remember, you have signed Ubuntu Code of Conduct. Be friendly, nice and helpful as much as you can. If you feel you are under stress, please take some time away and come back. If you feel you need to go away for more than 7 days, please refer to #6.

8- The Team Leader of Lubuntu Communications needs to recruit new members to the team whenever possible.

9- The Team Leader of Lubuntu Communications needs to work side by side with other Sub-Teams for the greater good of Lubuntu.

10- It is very recommended to have mutual communication and collaboration between Lubuntu and other Communities (Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu GNOME, etc).

[Candidates and Election]:

1- Email to be sent to Lubuntu Communications + CC the Main Mailing List
2- The Current Active Official Members of Lubuntu Community can make their decision/final decision about the candidates
3- If there is absolutely no objection from anyone, candidates who stepped in will be given the roles as applied for
4- It is 100% up to the Communications Team to decide what it is best for them because that was the whole idea behind having Sub-Teams so that each team organize themselves by themselves.
5- Those who would like to take the role(s) and step in, needs to 'Reply To All' and state clearly their interest

[Notes]:
1- ANY Member of Lubuntu Communications Team and Lubuntu Community can apply. However, you need to have some experience and skills. It is very easy to gain access and be in a Team Leader position but it is not going to be easy to lead and organize the team unless you have some skills and experience.

2- There is absolutely no problem to have more than one role at the same time as long as you can handle that but if you feel it is going to be a burden and stress, you need either to step down from your current role and apply for this position/role or just keep your current role and don't apply for this one if you feel it is too much for you. Make sure not to burn out.

3- You need to understand that this role you are applying for is a totally voluntary job. You will NEVER get paid for it. You will NOT own the team. The team belongs to Lubuntu Community. If you feel you are over qualified and with your skills and experience you could get paid for what you are doing, then save your time and our time, do yourself a favour and seek another position as this is not the right position for you.

4- Team Work, Team Work, and nothing but Team Work.

5- As always, if you are in doubt, simply ask.

Whiteboard

[amjjawad] IMPORTANT NOTE: From now and on, Team Leaders of other Sub-Teams will have access to all the Sub-Teams. This is a pre-caution action, JUST IN CASE another mess will happen so there will be 0% chance of any mess or failure. Having that said, Both Rafael (TL of Artwork) and Sergio (TL of Wiki) are now Admins on the launchpad for Lubuntu-Comms: https://launchpad.net/~lubuntu-comms/+members

HOWEVER, other TL for other Sub-Teams don't have to do anything at all. So, no worries Rafael and Sergio :D

[amjjawad] Ibere accepted to take the burden of being the Launchpad Owner of Lubuntu Comms Team as he is trying to help me and Lubuntu as much as possible. He does not want to be a Team Leader so he will take care of the team and will hand it over once someone will step in and be Lubuntu Communications Team Leader.

Thank you so much, Ibere and hope we can find our new Team Leader :)
