Track DS-5 support in Ubuntu and Android image for QS, Snowball, Panda, Origen and VE
This blueprint will track the the status of DS-5 support in Android and Ubuntu for Freescale QuickStart (i.MX53), ST-Ericsson Snowball, TI Panda, Samsung Origen and ARM VE boards.
== Objective ==
The objective of this BP is to clarify the current status of the DS-5 support in our 2011.12 builds. For example, I am not sure if switching to ICS will cause some issues with DS-5 support (user space daemon, etc).
For Ubuntu, things should be in place but I am unclear if all the boards have been tested or not. Can you please update this BP accordingly. Here is the BP we used to get the original work done - https:/
There is also a BP for Android ICS https:/

Whiteboard
[anmar, 2011-12-21] ARM (Srinivas -<email address hidden>) started the testing of Android and Ubuntu images. They reported on Android. Still waiting on Ubuntu.
[anmar, 2011-12-08] ARM LT found out that gator daemon has issues with ICS. They fixed it. See bug: https:/
Meta:
Headline: DS-5 support is enabled for both Ubuntu and Android LEBs.
Acceptance: Have all the LT kernels with proper config for DS-5, build the gator-module package for the RC images, have the support available at Android, tested and validated at both Ubuntu and Android LEBs (with all LT kernels).
