Ubuntu Concept is graduating and will now become Ubuntu Desktop ARM64 X13s flavour with 23.10 release of Ubuntu!
Upgrade path to Ubuntu Archive only install of x13s is provided in this ppa, but otherwise, this PPA is no longer needed.

Old content
This repository contains conceptual experimental non-production unstable builds. They lack polish and are not yet ready to integrate into Ubuntu or Canonical Products. However these builds are exciting for tinkers and innovators to experiment with.
These builds are provided on best effort basis by engineers from research and development teams.
No support is provided or available.

=== Quick Start Guide ===
* Shrink the Windows partition using Windows Disk Management
* On boot hit Enter, enter BIOS settings to disable SecureBoot
* Boot Windows again, and do BitLocker recovery
* Power off
* Insert Ubuntu Concept X13s USB stick
* Hit Enter, then F12 and select USB stick to boot from
* Complete the side-by-side installation (if you want to keep Windows)
* To recover windows EFI variable & Bitlocker:
boot into windows entry in grub, if bitlocker present it will trigger bitlocker recovery. This also restores Windows EFI boot entry. After this step use Enter then F12 to select OS to boot (windows or ubuntu)
* Install all updates to activate all the latest hardware improvements:
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt full-upgrade
$ sudo apt full-upgrade
(Due to preference files shipped, duplicate full-upgrade is required, and a reboot)
=== Known Issues ===
* Currently there is a ~6 minutes boot delay when booting the installer ISO.
Please be patient and just wait for it to timeout.
* IMPORTANT: If you're doing a release upgrade to Mantic, the Concept PPA is
disabled after the upgrade and the system is at this point unbootable due to
missing GPU firmware. Re-enable the PPA
(/etc/
$ sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
* If you do a Windows update, Windows might/will install 'Windows Boot Manager'
as the default bootloader again, so no more grub. To fix that, press ENTER at
the Lenovo boot logo, then press F12 and select 'ubuntu' to boot from. Boot
Ubuntu and reinstall grub:
$ sudo grub-install /dev/nvme0n1
* Bluetooth public address is identical for all X13s machines running Ubuntu.
If you want to change it, you have to modify
/lib/
* Known to not work at the moment:
- Camera
- Virtualization
- SecureBoot
