  * Rebuild with Python 3.6 (for ppa:savoury1/python-defaults-3.6):
    - Rename source to protobuf36 for this custom build (PPA co-existence)
    - debian/{control,rules}: Only include BDs and code for Python 3 build
    - debian/control: Add libprotobuf-dev and protobuf-compiler BDs
      - Rename package python3-protobuf -> python3.6-protobuf
      - Use manual deps including python3.6 rather than ${python3:Depends}
    - debian/rules: Add override_dh_python3, set /usr/bin/python3.6 shebang
      - Add {DEFAULT,INSTALL}DIR variables and override_dh_python3, move
        default install directory to correct /usr/lib/python3.6 path
      - Change all python3-protobuf -> python3.6-protobuf for install paths
    - debian/python3.6-protobuf.{postinst,prerm}: Create, include snippets for
      py3{compile,clean} modified to use -V 3.6 option for correct version
