GCC 13 - defaults (Xenial & newer)

PPA description

Backports of gcc 13.3.0 & gcc-defaults 1.208ubuntu1 for Xenial & newer.

Note: LLVM 17 binaries are here, as they are required by AMD GCN tools.

*** Install ***

Note well: This PPA will install GCC 13.3.0 (same version as in new oracular repo). It will also set system GCC defaults to 13.3.0! You have been informed. Do these steps if you want to proceed with this upgrade:

  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:savoury1/gcc-defaults-13
  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get upgrade && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Adding this PPA to your system

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:savoury1/gcc-defaults-13 to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing) 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:savoury1/gcc-defaults-13
sudo apt update
