Current versions of youtube-dl
PPA description
This repository is meant to hold new versions of the youtube-dl package. I will try to keep them in sync with the versions that I upload to Debian (where I am the maintainer of the package).
I am doing this as a service to the Ubuntu users, since the infra-structure of Ubuntu makes it hard to update the versions that are in the archives, once they are imported from Debian, and since Youtube (and other sites supported by youtube-dl) may change their structure from time to time and break the programs that use that structure (and this includes other packages like minitube, curl, ccurl and so on).
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:rbrito/youtube-dl to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rbrito/youtube-dl
sudo apt update
