Optional 'ffmpeg-static' with libfdk_aac support, can coexist with Ubuntu's original ffmpeg package.
Based on https:/
- ffmpeg-static is installed to /opt
- binaries & manpages are linked to /usr
- to use the binaries or open man pages: ffmpeg2; ffprobe2; man ffmpeg2; etc.
How to use:
- add-apt-repository ppa:nginx-rtmp/deps
- add-apt-repository ppa:nginx-
- apt update
- apt install nginx-extras
- (optional) apt install ffmpeg-static
