Cinnamon Stable PPA
PPA description
Considering the lack of an Utopic Cinnamon PPA, I decided to build Cinnamon packages myself. Here are the latest Cinnamon packages for Ubuntu Wily Werewolf (at least they were at the moment of building/uploading).
Tried, tested, stable for the last few days. Nevertheless, packages available here are provided "as-is".
I will do my best to keep this PPA as up-to-date as possible, but expect not the update speed of Arch Linux or Linux Mint (or any other distribution that is considered having fast package release schedule) maintainers ... more like updates depending on my free time.
EDIT 3 (#2 skipped because of an AskUbuntu reference): Currently maintaining *only* latest stable LTS and STS (short term support) releases! Other releases' users are recommended to upgrade or use packages closest to the L/STS release used.
EDIT 4: PPA discontinued! Please switch to embrosyn's (ppa:embrosyn/cinnamon) instead.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:moorkai/cinnamon to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:moorkai/cinnamon
sudo apt update
