=== rms ===

show RMS values and peak values for audio files.
Additionally show the number of channels, sample rate, exact duration and the overall RMS values of the left and the right channel.

Usage:rms -i <inputFile> [-o <outputFile>] [-r <resolution>]
 -i inputFile audio file to be read, uses ffmpeg
 -o outputFile write data to file
 -r VALUE window in

=== plotRms ===

draw a diagram with the rms values ​​and peak values ​​of an audio file

Usage: rms [OPTION...] audioFile

OPTIONS:
    -i --input audio path of any audio or video file to be plotted
    -o --output image path of target PNG or SVG file, if ommited use audioFile.png
    -r --resolution VALUE RMS window in seconds, default is 1.5
    -l --limit cut off RMS values lower than limit in dB, default is -36
    -t --template FILE use given gnuplot template file instead of build-in template

=== pulseRms ===

show rms values ​​of the currently played pulse audio source

=== rms-leveler ===

LADSPA plugin to balance the volume by setting the stereo audio level to -20 dBFS RMS using a preview window.
The level is updated every 0.33 seconds. There is a noise threshold of -40 dBFS. Starting at -3dBFS, peaks are compressed and limited to a maximum of -1dbFS.
LADSPA plugins can be used with Liquidsoap, Audacity, Sox and other audio tools.
This plugin compensates for differences in channel volume, removes DC offset, turns up soft audio and turns down loud audio. This preserves the short-term dynamic range.
