Latvian eID eParaksts PPA
PPA description
Collection of packages for using Latvian eID smart cards with eParaksts (https://www.eparaksts.lv) on Ubuntu Linux.
Packages:
eparakstitajs3 (eParakstītāju 3.0 from https://www.eparaksts.lv)
latvia-eid-middleware (Smart Card Middleware for reading smart cards issued by PMLP eID)
libclassicclient (Smart Card Middleware for reading smart cards issued by LVRTC)
Modifications/Info:
Modified eparakstitajs3 to use system java runtime to allow it to run on 32-bit, 64-bit or even armhf (requires java, recommended to use latest java from https://launchpad.net/~webupd8team/+archive/ubuntu/java PPA).
Ported latvia-eid-middleware source from https://github.com/eID-LV/Middleware for debian packaging. Added higher quality desktop menu icon. It is also possible to build latvia-eid-middleware from PPA source on armhf, to be able to use your smart card reader for authorizing on supported websites or for signing documents on your Linux-Friendly Hacker SBCs and Android phone/tablet (with chroot).
Modified libclassicclient_6.1.0-b08 to fix installing issues on Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit. Original packages from LuxTrust. Up-to-date package versions can be downloaded from LuxTrust support page https://www.luxtrust.lu/en/simple/225 .
