These are just updated versions of the packages at: https://launchpad.net/~langdalepl/+archive/ubuntu/gvfs-mtp
They may be useful for people who still uses Precise (as me) for Android developing... Leave a thanks to Philip Langdale (the dev of the above PPA), he's the man here ;)

Adding this PPA to your system

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:itachi-san/gvfs-mtp to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing) 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:itachi-san/gvfs-mtp
sudo apt update
