PPA description
Ubuntu package repository for AI modules for robots and robotics software in the cloud.
To install:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dobots/ppa # press ENTER if asked for confirmation
# this will automatically the key, but manually it would be something like:
# sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install aim
dpkg -L aim
This should show the contents of the package "aim" that you downloaded. By the way, note that you can also run the recipe that builds everything on your own system, although that is only useful for developers of this PPA itself.
bzr dailydeb ~/mypackages/
sudo DIST=raring cowbuilder --build aim*.dsc
The first command uses an "aim.recipe" file to build the proper .dsc file, the second command runs it in a pbuilder-based environment on your system where you can test run for multiple distros.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:dobots/ppa to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dobots/ppa
sudo apt update
