New Relic Instrumentation

In order to trace calls to diagnose bugs and performance bottlenecks, we can decorate certain functions with new relic tracing. This can be done without modifying the code. I'd like to see a sample New Relic INI file decorating certain functions that the core team knows to be relevant.
