Feature to permit external plugins

How about the ability for plugins to be written for Xibo? Plugins could be written to "listen" to sensors locally at each sign for anything (footfall, camera face detection or any other trigger) that could then trigger certain classes of content.

The Python client will support plugins for Media types and for Transitions. It can also configurably use a different scheduler module. In theory, you could write a new scheduler that either had plugins of its own, or took account of the sensors you describe, but this is beyond the project scope at the moment.
