offsite client update with a file downloaded from a web repository
I'd like to have the option to update an off-site client uploading the file in a folder of my apache corporate site.
The update should be similar to the USB method, but automatically retrived by the client.
This could VERY useful in environments where VPN is not available for unauthorized pc, or when the clients uses a dial-up internet connection.
Scheduled retrival and encryption of the update file (and the archive password stored in the .cfg files )could be a bonus.

i managed to make this work using the GUI offline client, so it should not be difficult to integrate.
just point the path to an apache folder instead of usb disk, and match the url in the client site.cfg.
A clearer way to schedule update on the client side could be a nice feature.
