Being able to add to the list of region option icons (HTML, Text, etc.)

Building on the Blue print item entitled "Integrate a weather XML feed ", what about setting out to be able to add in a locally defined region Option like a localized Weather feature. I have seven different methods of displaying a local weather feed for example. Once they are set up, they could be added to the Region options list as additional icons for inclusion in others regions/layouts.

A sort of feature Macro if you will. This has uses beyond Just weather reporting as well. An events calendar would be another possible item to add as a Region item where the event are defined once for other to use. Another possible use would be for repeating holiday sorts of things.
