Setup backup of the media repository
Set up backup to multiple destinations. We should probably also use something like Amazon Glacier (which given 8.9Gb would cost a full $1 per year).

Whiteboard
Its worth noting that the new repo server will have a local built in 4 slot backup functionality (daily, 2-7 day, 8-14 day, and user initiated) enabled on it.
I'm also still thinking that having a mirror which is North American based on the other box which would be read only and just sync to the primary which is London based. This would also provide a live fallback that could be used to get data from in the case of issues until a backup can be used to bring the primary back online again. Covers all the bases that way.

Is this implemented now?
/Erik
Yes the system will automatically keeping backups of the server. So there is no worry of losing it in its current state.
Are we still going to implement external watchdogs? I know Sean had a server available on NA he was offering. I think its simply a matter of setting the scripts and account for the proper account.
/Dean
An external watchdog would be very nice to have, for the media repo as well as the main site, irc server and any other infrastructure.
