Make use of SSL on Python's BaseHTTPServer

A fantastic feature would be if the HTTP-connection that a downloader establishes with the computer hosting the file for one-time download could be SSL-encrypted. This way, nosy script-kiddies on larger conferences, your local ISP or even the Government which enforces data-retention cannot plainly see what it is you're sharing / dowloading.

Take a look at http://trevp.net/tlslite/ . Can we use this for our purposes?
