blueprint for the Desktop Environment
a) provide a base set of items which balance looks and speed
b) at first, give the user options, a list of items and give the option
to turn on or disable
c) rip the KDE and GNOME libraries, then see which apps need
what, and prefetch according to user needs
d) one stable operating system, one working operating system,
and one unstable. Stable contains only the mature software,
unstable is for bleeding edge and working is the intermediate between the two.
e) maintain a repository of all the modules that we will be
creating from the huge libraries
f) make a software that will break libraries into modules
g) focus on the kernel first and test it till 'it just works'
h) make gnome modular and test it
i) when the two work together, carry this work forward to kde
j) and when both work as expected test our DE base (openbox/lxde)
k) and then when 3 of them work right, merge them one by one
l) first openbox/lxde and gnome or kde and test it and then when it is mature enough, involve the thing which have been left out and then test again, then move on to the other things
