Whiteboard

How can this be achieved? Is it something users want? How much data should be stored?
[Roignac] I guess, stroing data in CouchDB might be useful - this is included by default, allows to store user settings and temporary data and sync them using Ubuntu One service. Will be investigated further
[Simeon5] I'd like to see this too. Maybe in addition to an improved weather update?
[roignac] need to discuss possible solutions - CouchDB, gconf, simple text file?
[roignac] will try to use DesktopCouch for now - see http://www.eurion.net/python-snippets/index.html#DesktopCouch
