Consider to provide a second cd, with network and anonymizing software enabled
hey,
it would be great if ubuntu privacy remix could provide a second live cd, with network enabled and all tcp/udp connections using tor by default. i'm not sure whether this can be done easily, but it would be a great feature.
in my eyes, upr is the only up-to-date privacy live distro. creating a network-enabled anonymizing live cd from
the current upr shouldn't require too much modifications.

We are thinking about burning UPR on a DVD together with an anonymity-
We will start working on this after releasing UPR 10.04 Release 1.

Did you already make a decision, which anonymity software you'll use? Unfortunately I don't know any which made much progress within the last years. Most of them are published, updated once or twice, and then abadonned again. The most promissig one in my eyes is 'amnesic'[1], successor of 'Incognito'[2].
To be honest, what I explained above was the reason for this blueprint. UPR is a promising project, with several releases already, thus I thought that merging UPR and the anonymity patches of e.g. 'amnesic' would be a good idea ;-)

We now offer a Dualboot-ISO, which can boot UPR 10.04r2 for a secure and sealed-off local working enviroment and on the other hand T(A)ILS 0.9, a system specialized on anonymous internet usage via TOR. The TAILS System ist absolutely unmodified, the Dualboot-ISO is just a simplification für users using both systems. This DVD/USB-ISO can also be downloaded from the Download-Area:
