Ability to control Dash and Launcher opacity in CompizConfig Settings Manager

Along the tradition of the Panel Opacity and Launcher Opacity sliders in CompizConfig Settings Manager that allows the user to customize the alpha compositing in the Unity Panel, why not have similar sliders for the Dash? That way, the Dash can be made less or more transparent depending on whether the windows behind it are white or black.
Another possible option: Black text color in the Dash.
