Let webapps run in background

you could have the option for the webapps for ubuntu that they can run in the background in chrome so that you can get g+ gmail twitter and facebook notifications without having to have your browser open on that specific adress or open. chrome app already does this but they do not intregate with the Message indicator or notify-osd.
