Idea received at Ubuntu One clinic at UDS-M, from jussi01. All of this filtered through Chad's warped brain, so not very high-fidelity to what J intended.

Ubuntu users would like to support Ubuntu by donations. Since the U1 Music Store has payment integration, and users know and trust it, we should use that mechanism to receive money.

The single-sign-on will make users trust the transaction and veracity of the recipient.

A specific Ubuntu paypal account isn't as good because people already use the U1 Music Store.

Put a token on Launchpad or make a for-pay team, to add bragging rights to Ubuntu participation and support.
