lack of upload/download progress information
My case:
I'm uploading a big file from my laptop to ubuntuone (~350MB). I have some concerns about it:
- I'm not sure how much time it will take.
- Do I have time to finish upload/download it before unplugging from network?
- Will it take more time than I have?
- How much file is already uploaded/
The only one possibility I have to track download/upload speed is use gnome-system-
What I'd really like to have:
I'd like to have a progress bar or number in percentage that shows me progress of downloading or uploading concrete file to ubuntuone. It could also show upload/download speed. I suggest to add this to ubuntu notify system. Moving mouse over ubuntuone icon on gnome-panel could cause appearing notification.

Whiteboard
Thanks for the great suggestions! We'll be implementing almost exactly this information using the new notification system in Karmic. We're tracking all work in the bugtracker rather than in blueprints though, so I'm going to mark this blueprint as obsolete to close it out. You should see the download/upload progress notifications implemented in the next week or two.
