GNOME 4.0/GNOME OS integration in Ubuntu GNOME Trusty Tahr

GNOME is evolving slowly to a complete UX rather than just a desktop environment and the developers plan to integrate GNOME OS in GNOME 3.12/4.0. If we stick at GNOME 3.8 on 14.04 LTS, we will miss half of software providing the experience. GNOME OS is not going to replace distributions like Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, etc.

Whiteboard
[amjjawad] Ubuntu GNOME is the official variant of Ubuntu and therefore, we are using the same core system. We can't use the latest GNOME version for Trusty.
