Ubuntu features with a Wiimote (also Rhythmbox, MythTV)

The Nintendo Remote Controller, also known as Wiimote, could be used as a remote and very user-friendly interface extension for any Ubuntu desktop distribution, especially for media-center uses. For example Rhythmbox can read its keys for play/pause/etc. controls, or even use its accelerometer (e.g. a song can be paused by simply putting the Wiimote standing, or change song through left/right gestures). The "home" button can act as a launcher for a media application, e.g. MythTV, which will obviously respond to Wiimote inputs. In general, a Wiimote can be used wherever an Ubuntu desktop is to be used with some distance from the mouse, for example while listening for music or watching movies and photos.
