A VOIP client with text chat built in, to network new users with more experienced users

One major problem facing new linux users is lack of support. Forums and such can be discouraging- especially if a reply is not given quickly. My idea is to create an out-of-the-box VOIP and chat program, so new users can chat with more experienced people in real-time. Emphasis should be on user-friendliness.

lhademmor: Ekiga is shipped with Ubuntu. Maybe all we need is to make a default procedure for the support people to get in touch with newbies?
Bhavani Shankar: When we are providing support on the forums or the answer tracker if the user has given insufficient information or if we require more information we ask for it and continue to solve the problem. How is this feasible/different?
