failed to reboot after upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04

after complete upgrade and shutting down system is unable to reboot as 11.04. only shows ubuntu logo with 5 white dots. doesn`t read hdd(no flashing led). can only shut down with power button or try to reboot Ctrl+Alt+Del
