Idoit proof button to back up updates / packages to cd / dvd for use in same / other systems

A simple button to backup all updates and installed packages. New users (myself included) break ubuntu occasionally and simply reinstall. Some also have multiple pc's running ubuntu. To save you and us bandwidth and time It would be nice to have a feature to backup all updates / packages in update manager and synaptic.

Checkout APTonCD (http://aptoncd.sourceforge.net/) which does this. APTonCD is available on 'universe', you can do a "sudo apt-get install aptoncd" to install this.

Can this be made available by default? It is such a lifesaver.
