Whiteboard

Session notes:
 * Is material going to be reusable for all translation teams?
   - Sessions would be in English, but the outline and the supporting material will be available and translatable

 * Frequency of sessions:
   - Experience from the Packaging team: weekly sessions, rotating time - useful for people in different timezones
   - Learnt from experience: issues - same people run the sessions every time, but people were sometimes afraid of preparing a full hour for the session: suggestions - prepare

 * More experience from the packaging team on running sessions:
   - Alternating session topics: Q&A, training, picking up questions from the packaging forums.
   - Packaging training sessions could be used as an example: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Packaging/Training
   - Idea: write a blog post asking people about what they'd like to hear - topics

 * Creation of project in LP as a playground for translations
   - Idea: use the staging server in order to avoid manually refreshing translations after each session
   - Proposal to use Open permissions, so that people can save both suggestions and translations

 * Brainstorming on topics:
   - How to start a translation team
   - Translation quality
   - Workflow from different teams
   - How to do translations:
     - Review workflow
     - Point and click translation
     - How to use suggestions
     - Message sharing
     - Automatic imports and exports
   - How upstream and downstream works

 * Other training infrastructure, apart from IRC:
   - Moodle: training server, out of scope for this cycle, but it could be used for doing online translation courses and be accessible from the translations portal

 * When will the training sessions start? asap in Natty
