Ubuntu not all is available, as it should!

Ubuntu lacks lots and lots of things, for instance, when the battery is critical low, an alarm that beeps until it shutdowns. But this example is just a tip of the problem, and this is, in my opinion, the major problem of Ubuntu, which is having the means to do something and not have it implemented... Everything in Ubuntu should be able to, whistle, talk, display, etc., even if it is a simple button... On a more reason side, if can inform the user of something, then the user should have the setup to choose which way wants that information to get him, audio, text, image, etc. (multimedia system).
