Nautilus can view items in expandable list, but lacks the all option

Nautilus improvement would be the choice to expand all or collapse all the items when in list mode with tree on. The best solution would be to add this automation for expanding or collapse a set of items, in the current search routine, so if one searches all and add order to expand them, the search routine would return all in the state expanded, and vice-versa to collapse, or one could search only the folders starting with the letter G and add the order to expand those folders too... Currently one have to expand and collapse manually, and the worst part is, if one opens later that list view, all expanded items are again set to collapsed...
