Currently there is no easy method for mounting image files similar to Daemon tools on windows.
This is very simple to do since its all possible through the command line, but a GUI method is needed.

see http://cdemu.sourceforge.net/ and http://mniess.googlepages.com/cdemuforubuntu7.04 for an advanced image infrastructure (with more image types supported).

The new gmount-iso should do the trick.
