A store where commercial games that are known to work well in wine can be bought.
I would like to suggest a store where commercial games that are known to work well in wine can be bought.
Once a game is bought it is downloaded from a special server and then installs itself automatically using wine (including configuring wine to get it to work the best).
The profit goes to help further the development of wine so that more games can be added to the database (some nonprofit fund).
This will also show the game manufacturers that there is a market for games in Linux.

-what also would be nice in the store would be ubuntu capable wireless cards so new-users looking for cards wouldn't have to look hard to find ones that work
- I would say that the first priority should be games that have native linux clients. Using WINE isn't coherent with Ubuntu's previous practice of not including WINE in Ubuntu by default. Support for non-native games could be optional and later included, but this application should primarily reward native games and ports rather than the other way around.
There is already a project that is similar called wine-doors, still in heavy development - http://
