A New Icon Theme For Karmic: Ubuntu Colors
Ubuntu has had the Human icon theme for as long as I can remember, it has worked well but since its introduction things have changed and it looks extremely out of date compared to other icon themes, other distros and other modern operating systems. It is time for a change. Ubuntu is a state of the art, next generation operating system so it should look like one with a complete visual theme which matches its technical excellence and brings user experience above and beyond the status quo. An intrinsic part of any user experience is the icons which define how users perceive the functionality and Human just is not good enough; we should switch to the much more developed, community created Gnome Colors theme which has the potential to completely refresh every part of the Ubuntu desktop experience.
