Explore ways to enhance Ubuntu Brainstorm

Registered by Nicolas Deschildre

Discussion on how Ubuntu Brainstorm could be improved so that:
1/ interesting facts in feedback can be more easily found (better reporting) and used more early for UDS planning
2/ Keep user coming by doing more feedback

(It seems UB will unfortunately not be updated in time. See http://devel.ideatorrent.org for what to expect)

Whiteboard

Place an icon to the gnome-panel, so the user can immediately start u.brainstorm and submits his idea in short time and every time he wants (every time he's angry about a missing feature / application / structure)

In the first time this could be an easy-to-make small "weblication" (just open a small browser window, connect to brainstorm). In future, this could be developed to a fully in Ubuntu integrated idea and knowledge base... e.g. with submit fields, automatic checking against duplicates... future steps: assist the user during work, just like Silly Gates' Wife wanted to do with all the cute MS-Off-Wizards... but ours would work:
Small Mark Shuttleworth animated gif saying in a bubble: "You seem to look for a XXX button in epiphany-browser. This will be part of [future/]next Ubuntu [X.XX] as you can see in following Brainstorm article: #654212239....

Think about it ;-)

Further:
Integrate with Ubuntu user management during installation from CD with an default checked option "I want to give feedback to Ubuntu Community and share ideas about Ubuntu with other users." and register in background automatically the local user with local pass directly to u.brainstorm.
