The Synaptic Package Manager should clearly show the details of which packages were not downloaded when prompting the user to either continue or abondon after some packages were not downloaded successfully

Registered by Tabrez Iqbal

When a user marks some packages to be installed in the Synaptic Package Manager(SPM) and then clicks the 'Apply' button, SPM starts fetching the packages and in case of errors in fetching some of the required files, it prompts the user to choose whether to continue installing the requested with the partial number of downloaded files or to quit. In this dialog prompt, if SPM also provides an option to the user to view which files were not downloaded by it, perhaps he/she can make a more informed decision whether to continue or not. Like, if the files that were not downloaded are related to the recommended packages for the requested packages, he might prefer to ignore the error and continue with the installation.
