Supertuxkart version is too old

Supertuxkart in ubuntu is too old. We are awaiting release of 0.7.4(?), we have 0.7.3 released before 3 months, so, why we don't have newest version in ubuntu? Users are angry because they must use ppa/svn to get newest version of stk. Somebody should update supertuxkart to 0.7.3 before alpha 2 will be released. It is urgent! Precise Pangolin will be LTs and i can't imagine that i will have to use this old version for 2 years! /sorry for my bad english/
