Apt & it's Gui frontend,Synaptic, were GREEEAATT for their time,but no more.with the size of files & the number of downloads worldwide,a new system needs to be used.something that can pause& resume updating.
something that more efficiently handles the need for servers to be nearby,decreasing download times.something that might be called Stymie .
I have not web master skills.
