A spec for an integration of spoken commands and answers by the system

Registered by Nicolas DERIVE

This spec suggests and aims to integrate the new possibilities linked with voice, like voice command recognition by the system (after "learning" by it, in order to control system naturally without mouse) and a voice synthesis based system which can read documents, messages, mails... It is useful for anyone and adds helps for blind people. It is linked with Spoken-boot spec by Luke Yelavich, and extend it to the whole system and to system control.

Whiteboard

[2006-11-06] What do you think about this idea Luke ? I need some help since I'm not a programmer and I have just ideas and a knowledge of what voice systems exist now in Ubuntu. It is my first time too..

2008-02-08. I am not a programmer either. Just think of the reality of being able to call out to your computer and tell it to remind you buy something, to look up something, to switch on the light, etc..... the list is endless. We could talk to our computer without having to be stuck in front of it. It will be like 2001 a space odyssey.
