Improving Ubuntu Server Documentation

Registered by Robbie Williamson on 2011-05-06

As Ubuntu Server begins to grow it's user base and popularity, I think we need to give serious thought to having a better process around doing our documentation.

Currently, all we have for Ubuntu Server is a pure community ran effort:

   https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/C/index.html

Which is absolutely great, however as we begin to be compared more to RHEL and SLES:

   http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/index.html

   http://www.novell.com/documentation/sles11/

I think it's fair to say we need to step up our game....how do we do that?
