feedback [jdstrand]: backingstore and hostdev support can't be backported to 0.7.5 without an intrusive patch. I've prepared a 0.7.7-4 merge that the server team is considering for inclusion. If they decide against it, this will have to be deferred.
feedback [jdstrand]: server team said no to 0.7.7-4 for Lucid due to upstream changes to scsi hot add. Hostdev and save/restore will have to be deferred to Maverick. All work has been upstreamed and should be in 0.7.8.
