Ideas for commercial use

Registered by Sam

I am a sys admin for a small company, I use Kubuntu for a networking monitoring server on my LAN. I have 3 ideas how Kubuntu could increase its appeal to me personal and commercially.

Definitions
Kb = Kubuntu

I don’t know what needs to be changed or how it could be done but for me this would take kb to the next level and the way open office is going...

1. I think this is being covered – most IT professionals require good VPN support, at the moment kb doesn’t work for me. (IPsec road warrior)

2. A quick and easy way of integrating a kb machine into a windows domain which can make use of roaming profiles.

3. kb that could run firefox, java (forms), JInitiator etc for use with Oracle ERP systems, the next step would be certification with Oracle, if this could be achieved then kb could make in roads into the windows work station market.
