Solution for old kernel's on system (automatic remove)

Hi,I come here to leave an idea for next release of ubuntu (7.04) throughout the time we have updates of kernel, but instead of removing the old, we are with the 2 Kernel's in the system, for majority of us does not have much problem, but for a new user in linux this it becomes one accumulates of space in disk.

I'm receiving many claims saying that it has diverse kernel's in its systems, and because this task is not automatized?

Case the removal is no thought, can leave the previous, and case that it has kernel older, this will be removed, but of any form would have to be occult in the grub kernel's not current.
