Redesign GRUB menu

Windows 8 will finally give users a boot/repair menu with graphical buttons and a modern appearance (if what we're seeing on DP1 will indicate) ... even though this awkwardly requires that a bit of the OS be completely loaded beforehand just to load it for obvious reasons.
However, GRUB 2 provides an excellent framework for more advanced capabilities, and I think it is time for Ubuntu to truly embrace what has been done, and bring a little bit of Ambiance to the lonely bootloader.
